BURIAL VAULTS

We don't offer burial vaults for purchase to the general public, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be informed.

Our burial products are only available for purchase through our wholesalers. We know you will be more than pleased by the information they provide. If you wanted some more technical information this would be the place to start.

Why?

You may be wondering why you even need a burial vault?

In most cemeteries, a vault is required for casket burial. The vault protects the casket from both the pressure of the earth, as well as any heavy equipment used in cemeteries. This helps maintain the beauty of the cemetery grounds and usually stops settling at grave sites.

Strength

Is a concrete burial vault strong enough?

Concrete in a subterranean environment (buried) should only get stronger with time. That being said, Crummitt and Son vault products are required to meet certain industry strength standards. This means when you get a vault from Crummitt and Son, you need not worry about the strength and integrity of your purchase.

Options

There are many different types of burial vaults.

Vaults can be manufactured with many materials. Concrete is time tested and proven. Many concrete vaults come with liners made of plastic and/or metal. These aid in the strength of the vault and assist with water resistance. Simply ask for a lined burial vault if you are interested in those features.
